In the section of my book One Last Shot by: Mitchell Kruger, Michael Jordan is making his comeback with the Washington Wizard. He is going into his eighteenth NBA season and everybody is counting him out. Many of Michael's previous rivals didn't believe he had anything left in the tank to succeed. My at age 40 at this point carry's his team on his back in search for a playoff spot towards the NBA Finals. I love this book so much. I understand the history and legacy of Michael Jordan and it fascinated me to read this book about his life in the NBA. So far, I've made it to page 54 and Michael is making a statement to the NBA fans that he still has a lot of gas in the tank and hasn't slowed down at all. This section is showing Michaels true confidence within himself. At this point in Michaels life he isn't as aggressive on the court from his prime days. Everything Jordan lacked in points made were valuable teaching lessons to a very young Wizards team. The Wizards are fighting for playoff contention and are 1.5 games out of eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Michael and his team are grinding out every game and it is putting some wear and tear on him. The Wizards allow Michael to take some games off to rest up. I hope to read more of this book very soon.
